Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
The preferred approach to young children's catechesis in a growing number of dioceses
We offer this sensorially rich program to children in preschool through grade 2, giving them the opportunity to grow in their love and knowledge of God through the christian tradition.
The program provides religious formation rooted in the Bible, Liturgy of the Church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. The Atrium is a sacred space that has been prepared for children that provides a hands on experience. The school now has two atriums, one located in the preschool room and a second in the convent chapel.
Strong Catholic Identity
Preparing students to be strong, moral, ethical leaders
In keeping with the mission and philosophy the administration, faculty, and staff provide many opportunities for the students and their families to live out their Catholic Identity.
Students learn to model Christ-like behavior, demonstrate knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church, participate in liturgies, prayer, and sacraments and to respect God's creation. In the classroom and in the community students put their faith in action by participating in service projects and community events.
