We offer a variety of after school activities that students of all ages can participate in!

Choir

Students in grades 3 through 8 are invited to participate in the school choir. Under the guidance of our music director, students meet and practice once a week after school.  The school choir performs at various events in Orange County, such as the The Garden Grove Tree Lighting and the Strawberry Festival.

Sports

Calling ALL athletes!!! Be a part of the St. Columban sports program by trying out for various sports teams. During the beginning of the school year, boys and girls are able to participate on the flag football team and girls can compete on the volleyball squad! In the spring, students are able to take part in the basketball, boys volleyball, i3 roller hockey and track and field programs.

Art Club

Attention Artists! St. Columban school offers an after school Art Club run our art teacher. There are two sessions throughout the school year, one for the lower grades, and one for the upper grades. The upper grades also get to participate in the Muzeo Trash Art Competition.

Student Council

Students in grades 6-8 may campaign for leadership positions. Student council members are responsible for many student activities including morning assemblies and promoting school spirit. Student council meets during lunch once a week.

Social Justice Committee

Under the guidance of the school chaplain, Sr. Brid, students meet with faculty representatives to plan school-wide activities that encourage students to apply the gospel values while serving others.

Soccer Shots

Students in preschool-3rd grade who participate in Soccer Shots learn principles and life skills like confidence, respect, honesty, and teamwork. Students meet once a week after school throughout the session.

Lego Brain Builders

Students in grades 1-5 may sign up for a 7 week session of Lego Brain Builders. Students learn to set goals, find out what it takes to achieve goals and apply what they have learned .
